What are the main types of trusts in China
There are three main types of trusts in China:
1. State-owned trust companies. These trusts are controlled by national government enterprises and conglomerates, tending to be larger in size and conducting operations on a national scale. 2. City government-controlled trust companies. These trusts are generally located in wealthier areas and often have a regional focus. 3. Diversified trust companies. These trusts have a mix of shareholders, including the government, private enterprises, and smaller state-owned enterprises. These trusts are usually more flexible, and operate in all regions of China. They also tend to be smaller in size and focus on a single industry.
