Are there standard FTC's?
Most State Foreign Trade Companies in China provide standard contracts to their foreign trade partners, which form the basis for their negotiations leading to the conclusion of a FTC. A standard FTC contains general terms and conditions for certain types of transactions. There terms and conditions include clauses such as a description of the goods, total contract value, packing, insurance, shipping marks, intended ports of shipment and destination, shipment period, terms of payment, shipping documents, complete contract and assignment, warranty, licenses, duties and taxes, force majeure and claims and arbitration.
