The SIPO has set up a Patent Re-examination Board. Where the applicant is not satisfied with the decision of the SIPO rejecting the application, within three months from the date of receiving the notification he can request the Patent Re-examination Board to make a re-examination. The Patent Re-examination Board shall, after re-examination, make a decision and notify the applicant. If the applicant is still not satisfied with the decision made by the Re-examination Board, he may, within three months from the date of receipt of the notification, institute legal proceedings in the People's Court.
