What are the primary international agreements governing international carriage of goods by sea and air?
(a): The Hague-Visby Rules, adopted in part by the U.S. as COGSA, are the most commonly adopted agreement on the carriage of goods by sea, while air transport is generally governed by the Convention for the Unification of Certain Rules for International Carriage by Air, or more simply, the Montreal Convention.
