How can I enforce my arbitration award?
If one party fails to comply with the award, the aggrieved party may apply for enforcement of the award to the intermediate People's Court in the place where the respondent has its residence or where its property is located pursuant to Chinese law. As China is a contracting party to the 1958 New York Convention on the Recognition and Enforcement of Foreign Arbitral Awards, the successful party can also apply to the competent foreign court for enforcement of his CIETAC award pursuant to the Convention.
