Mr. Lehman and partner Yitai Group visit the "tomb" of legendary Genghis Kahn. Yitai is one of China's top ten coal producing companies and the leader of coal to gas liquefaction technology in China. Having acquired a number of coal reserves abroad, their worldwide influence grows like their local hero Genghis Kahn. The location is a sacred place to worship. It is not known where the body of Genghis Kahn lies. The temple location was built next to an alter of stones. The stones have been at this location since the 1100s when Genghis Kahn's wagon tomb got stuck in the mud. Decades earlier, Kahn had dropped his whip at this location and told his people that he would be buried at that stop, telling them that it was the most beautiful he'd seen in all the world.

 

The party pulling the body of Kahn in a wagon was riding through the mud in this area. The wagon got stuck in the mud. All of the horses and men tried to free the wagon from the mud for many days. Finally, the people decided that they must have arrived at the sacred land where Kahn had wished to be buried.

 

After the body was taken from the wagon, they lied it in the mud and the wagon was instantly released from the mud. In the Mongolian tradition, the party rode their horses over the body until the body and mud became one. The alter of stones was then build as a monument to remember the place where their leader returned to the earth.
